The Light and Matter Physics unit perform basic and applied research in the areas of Functional materials, Materials Theory, Quantum materials, Spintronics, Sustainable Materials Research, Surface physics, Laser Physics, Ultrafast and near-field spectroscopy, Semiconductor materials, Optical communication, and Ultrafast electron microcopy.
